Przygotowanie do uruchomienia instalacji systemu z płyty CD:

Ustawienia w bios`ie:
1. Aby dostać się do bios`u, podczas uruchomiania komputera naciskamy bez przerwy przycisk wskazany w komunikacie (podczas uruchamiania) " Press DEL to enter SETUP" czyli naciskamy klawisz Delete (na niektórych płytach głównych jest to klawisz F2)
2. Korzystając ze strzałek ŕ ß najeżdżamy na pozycję "Advanced BIOS Features" i klikamy enter.
3. Naszym oczom ukazało się okno konfiguracji zaawansowanych funkcji Bios`u, a w nim kolejno napędy bootowania: pierwszy, drugi i trzeci. Najeżdżamy na opcję "First boot Device" i naciskając kilkakrotnie klawisze "page up" i "page down" ustawiamy w tej opcji "CDROM". Dzięki temu nasz PC będzie teraz początkowo szukał systemu na dysku CD
4. Wracamy teraz do głównego okna bios`u (klikamy ESC). Za pomocą strzałek zaznaczamy "Save & Exit Setup", co oznacza po polsku "Zapisz i opuść program". Wciskamy klawisz Enter. Na ekranie pokazuje się opcja czy naprawdę chcemy opuścić program wraz z zapisaniem wszystkich wprowadzonych zmian. Klikamy na literę Y - Yes (z ang. Tak). Wkładamy do napędu CD płytę z systemem Windows i klikamy na Enter.
Uruchomienie instalacji systemu:
1. Gdy na naszym ekranie pojawi się komunikat "Dowolny klawisz spowoduje rozruch z tego dysku CD", klikamy dowolny klawisz np. Enter,
2. Następnie naszym oczom ukazuj się okno w którym postawimy nasze pierwsze kroki podczas instalacji. Do wyboru mamy trzy opcje: instalacja systemu, naprawa, Zakończ. Wciskamy klawisz Enter, aby rozpocząć instalację systemu.
3. Pokazuje się umowa licencyjna, aby ją zaakceptować klikamy F8.
4. Jeżeli na naszym dysku jest już system Windows widzimy na ekranie propozycje do jego naprawy. My jednak nie chcemy naprawiać systemu tylko instalować od nowa, więc klikamy na ESC.
Tworzymy partycje:
Jeżeli jest to nowa instalacja:
1. Dysk musimy podzielić na partycje, widzimy napis " Obszar nie podzielony na partycję (i rozmiar naszego całego dysku).
2. klikamy na klawisz "C" i wpisujemy ile ma być miejsca na naszej partycji "C" następnie znów najeżdżamy na "obszar nie podzielony na partycję (reszta wolnego miejsca) klikamy klawisz "C" i wybieramy ile ma być miejsca na naszej partycji D i tak do momentu aż zużyjemy wszystkie wolne miejsce.
Teraz następne kroki są takie same dla nowe instalacji jak i dla reinstalacji systemu.
Jeżeli już wszystko jest ustawione wybieramy partycję "C" i klikamy klawisz Enter, przejdziemy do następnego kroku instalacji
Formatowanie:
Partycja na której chcemy mieć system, koniecznie musi być sformatowana:
1. Zostajemy poproszeni przez instalator o wybór plików i szybkość formatowania, zaznaczamy "Formatuj partycję stosując system plików Fat", można także NTFS, ale nie polecam, bo później programy starszego typu (dosowe) nie widzą dysku. Potwierdzamy chęć formatowania klawiszem "F" (UWAGA! FORMTOWANIE POWODUJE UTRATĘ WSZYSTKICH DANCYH DOTYCHAS ZAPISANYCH NA DYSKU).
2. Partycja na której instalujemy system nie może mieć mniej niż 2000Mb, zaleca się użycie rozmiaru od 5-10Gb (5000-10000Mb)
3. Na ekranie pojawia się informacja: " Aby kontynuować i sformatować partycję, naciśnij klawisz Enter". Należy wtedy kliknąć na Enter.
4. Druga i następne stworzone przez nas partycje zostają na razie nie sformatowane, później sformatujemy je spod systemu.
Konfiguracja podczas instalacji w trybie graficznym:
Kiedy formatowanie partycji zostanie ukończone, możemy obserwować proces kopiowania plików niezbędnych do instalacji na nasz dysk twardy, po skopiowaniu, odczekujemy 15sekund na ponowne uruchomienie komputera (podczas tego uruchomienia wyskakuje także napis "Dowolny klawisz spowoduje rozruch z dysku CD" teraz nic nie klikamy). Po ponownym uruchomieniu instalacja jest kontynuowana już w bardziej zaawansowany sposób i w ładniejszym systemie graficznym.
1. Po kilku minutach od uruchomienia instalacji systemu na ekranie widzimy okno oferujące możliwość wyboru języka i układu klawiatury. Klikamy na przycisk "Szczegóły"

3. W oknie "Spersonalizuj swoje dane" wpisujemy swoje nazwisko i organizację.
4. W następnym oknie jesteśmy poproszeni o podanie naszego kodu dołączonego do naszej wersji systemu (oczywiście większość znajdzie te klucze na stronie [www.serials.ws)] .
5. Zgodnie z instrukcjami nadajemy naszemu komputerowni nazwę i klikamy na dalej
6. Następnie wyskakuje okno z konfiguracją sieci, zaznaczamy "ustawienia zaawansowane" i klikamy na dalej.
Przed uruchomieniem systemu:
Tuż przed pierwszym uruchomieniem systemu Windows XP dokonujemy ostatnich ustawień konfiguracyjnych.
